Memories in the Making Art Reception & Auction

Please join us for the 3 rd annual Memories in the Making Art Reception & Auction on March 31 st at Ralston Hall.   This very special event is an opportunity for you to support the Alzheimer's Association in its mission:   to create a world without Alzheimer's and enhance the lives of those who live with it.  

Our guests will once again enjoy a variety of entertainment while savoring hosted hors d'oeuvres and wine as you stroll through the elegant rooms of the Ralston Hall Mansion.   And the pièce de résistance... thirty-two extraordinary pieces of juried art, created in the Memories in the Making program, will be featured on the auction block for your bidding pleasure!

Guests at the 2005 event enjoyed an evening filled with excellent wine, food & entertainment. The live auction, led by Dennis O'Donnell and Roberta Gonzales of CBS 5 News, brought the crowd to their feet as competitive bidding for the art reached new heights. Collectively, the event raised over $32,000+ for the Alzheimer's Association.

We look forward to another successful night on March 31 st , and hope to see you there!

Event Details:
Date: March 31, 2006

Time: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The wine reception and silent auction will begin at 6:00 p.m. The live auction will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Location: Ralston Hall, located on the campus of Notre Dame De Namur University
1500 Ralston Avenue
Belmont, CA   94002

 

Reservations: A reservation on our RSVP list will serve as a "ticket" for admission to the event. Reservations prices are: Individuals - $75.00 , Tables of Four - $400 , Tables of Ten - $1,000 .

*Tables will have preferred seating for the live auction & will have complimentary wine served through the live auction.

Auction Policies: The silent auction will open at 6:00 p.m. and will commence 15 minutes after the live auction ends. The bidding for the art selected for the silent auction will start at $300 and can be raised in $25 increments.

The live auction will begin at 7:30 p.m. The bidding for live auction art will begin at $200, and will increase at the rate determined by the active bidding.

Cash, checks and the following credit cards will be accepted at the auction (Visa, Master Card, and American Express).

All sales are final, and there will be no refunds, exchanges, or substitutions.

The amount paid for each piece of art is fully tax deductible. Receipts for tax-deductible purposes will be provided in writing and sent in the mail.

All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association.

  • From San Francisco ( about 25 miles ) southbound on Freeway 280, take the 92-East San Mateo exit, then the Ralston Avenue exit.
  • From San Jose ( about 25 miles ) northbound on Freeway 280, take the 92-Half Moon Bay West - San Mateo East exit, then the Ralston Avenue exit.
  • From either San Francisco or San Jose on Bayshore Freeway 101, take the Belmont-Ralston Avenue exit and drive west to the campus entrance.
